SIS Integrations using Platform Admin UI
The SIS Integrations page in the EMS Platform Services Admin UI supports the Workday Student - EMS integration. It also supports any future cloud student information system(SIS) integrations with EMS. This is done by enabling you to provide us with the REST URLs that we will call and then map to our REST APIs for EMS Desktop Client Campus and ultimately update room data to ensure we in sync with the event system of record.
Enable/Disable SIS integration
To enable SIS integration:
On the SIS Integrations page, click the Enable SIS Integration button.
If SIS integration is already enabled, you have to disable SIS integration to edit URL information.
To disable SIS integration, click Disable SIS Integration.
Register the SIS integration
- In Authentication URL, enter the URL for authenticating the SIS.
- In Username, enter your username.
- In Password, enter your password.
Add integration URLs
Enter integration URLs for the following entities:
- Building
- Room
- Room Type
- Academic Units
- Subjects
- Terms
- Instructors
- Course Types
- Courses
- Course Dates
