Create Bookings in the Reservation Book

Select the room you want to book in the Reservation book using the Daily view. In the time grid, click and drag to select the start and end times. The Reservation wizard opens.

Enter booking details in the Reservation wizard

Use the Reservation wizard to find available space and create a reservation. The Reservation wizard helps you find rooms available for a specific time on one day or across multiple days. You can also create a series by selecting multiple rooms for the same date and time.

Use a template

If your EMS administrator has configured reservation wizard templates, the Wizard template field appears at the top of the Reservation wizard.

Select a template to speed up the booking process. The template automatically populates default values for many of the fields in the Reservation wizard.

Set the event date and time

  1. In the Reservation wizard, use the Calendar to select dates.

Select individual dates directly in the calendar, or use the available options to select multiple dates or recurring patterns.

  2. To specify the start and end times, select values from the fields or enter times manually.

  3. Specify setup and teardown times.

Leave Use default selected, or clear it to enter your own values.

  4. Select an event status.

Some statuses may require a reconfirm date. Track these in the EMS dashboard.
