Configure Floors

Use floors to identify where rooms are located within a building. Floor information can improve room searches, reporting, and room organization. Each room can belong to only one floor. Examples include First Floor, Basement, and Garden Level.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Facilities > Floors.

2. Select New.

3. In Floor, enter a description of up to 50 characters.

4. Optional: In Sequence, enter a number to control the display order.

   Floors with lower sequence numbers appear higher in the list. If all floors use the default value of 0, EMS sorts them numerically and then alphabetically.

5. Select OK.

   Your new Floor is created.
