Configure Confirmations for Group Notifications

Attach a full reservation confirmation to group notification emails.

  1. Select Configuration > Administration > Group Notification Rules.

  2. Select the group notification you want to attach a confirmation to.

  3. Select Send Confirmation

    The Confirmation Settings window opens.

  4. Configure the settings on the available tabs. See the Confirmation settings tabs table below.

  5. Select OK.

Confirmation settings tabs

Tab Description
Date Range Defines the reservation dates included in the confirmation.
Buildings Defines the buildings, areas, and views included in the confirmation.
Categories Defines the booking details included in the confirmation.
Statuses Defines the booking statuses included in the confirmation.
Options Controls layout, content, and formatting options. See the Confirmation options table below.
EMS Web App Options Controls EMS Web App links and messaging. See the EMS Web App options table below.

Confirmation options

Option Description
Confirmation Title Displays a title at the top of the confirmation.
Header Message Displays a predefined message at the top of the confirmation.
Footer Message Displays a predefined message at the bottom of the confirmation.
Paper Size Selects Letter, Legal, or A4 formatting.
Print Comments Includes reservation comments.
Print Reminders Includes reservation reminders.
Print Cancel Reasons Includes cancellation reasons.
Print User Defined Fields Includes UDF values.
Suppress Reserved Time Shows only event time.
Suppress Location Hides reservation locations.
Suppress Pricing Hides room and resource pricing.
Suppress Logo Hides the organization logo.
Suppress Item Notes Hides resource notes.
Suppress Item Special Instructions Hides special instructions.
Limit Bookings to Those With Details in Selected Categories Includes only bookings that contain details for selected categories.

EMS Web App options

Option Description
Display Web App Link Adds a link to the reservation in EMS Web App.
Web App Link Message Displays text with the EMS Web App link.

At a minimum, configure buildings and statuses when configuring confirmation settings. All other confirmation options are optional.
