Current Allocation
Set a building as the current allocation and use it as the starting point for new allocation scenarios.
When creating a new allocation scenario, you can start with a blank allocation or use the building's current allocation. The current allocation serves as the primary source for analyzing building data. When you assign departments to the current allocation, the system deducts their resources from the total available pool.
When you use the current allocation as a starting point, the new allocation includes:
- Department headcount and space assignments by floor and zone.
- Zones displayed on the floor map.
Set a current allocation
If you have created an allocation with departments assigned to floors, you can designate it as the current allocation and reuse it when creating new allocation scenarios.
- Create an allocation that includes a building and assigned departments.
- Open the menu in the upper-right corner.
- Select Set as current allocation.
- Select the buildings that you want to set as the current allocation.
- Select Set.
The system sets the selected allocation as the current allocation for the selected buildings.
Use a current allocation
If you have an allocation set as current, use it as a starting point for a new allocation.
- Create a new allocation.
- Add a building.
If the building has a current allocation, the message Use current allocation as starting point? appears.
To use the current allocation as the starting point, select Yes.
To create a new allocation without using the current allocation, select No.
