Building Sync

Use Building sync to verify building matches across your source systems before data is included in analytics.

Review building synchronization data and building mappings directly in the Facilities module.

Review building sync data issues

Review possible building sync issues to ensure accurate data for use in analytics.

1. Go to Facilities> Building sync.
2. Filter by Building name, Building address, and Sync issue type as needed.
3. Review the sync issues and Recommended actions.

Sync issue statuses and recommended actions

Sync issues can have one of the following statuses:

• Needs review: The secondary source doesn't contain enough location information to match the building to the primary source.

  Add the location information to the secondary source indicated in the Recommended actions column.

• Possible match: A building doesn't have a direct match in the primary source but is located near a possible match.

  If the buildings match, update the building information in the secondary source so it matches the primary source.
