Building Details

The left panel on the Analyze Building page displays categories of metrics that provide insight into building performance and efficiency. Use these metrics to support space planning and allocation decisions.

You can expand or collapse the left panel to show or hide building details.

Show or hide building details

To show or hide building details, select the arrow at the bottom of the panel.

When you collapse the panel, the chart area expands to fill the available page width.

Expand the map

To expand the map, select the zoom arrows in the upper-left corner of the map.

The map and building details expand to fill the available page width.

Usage

Usage metrics help you understand how effectively employees use building space.

To change the reporting period, select Previous week or Previous month. The usage metrics update based on the selected time frame.

Metric	Description
Headcount	Total number of employees in the organization.
Engagement score	Indicates employee satisfaction with the building.
Capacity	Maximum number of employees the building can accommodate.
Utilization	Measures how much of the available space is in use.

Cost

Cost metrics help you evaluate building operating costs and support space planning decisions.

Metric	Description
Monthly base rent	Calculated from the monthly rent totals for active floor contracts within the building.
Rent per sqft	Calculated by dividing the monthly rent by the building's total square footage.

Space

Space metrics provide information that can help improve space efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Metric	Description
Total sqft	Total square footage of the building.
Sqft per employee	Displays the average square footage available per employee.
Expiration	Next upcoming lease expiration date for the building.
Upcoming expiration	Indicates whether a lease expiration falls within the configured upcoming period.

Forecast by department

Use Forecast by department to view and update department headcount forecasts. Use forecast values to analyze future building utilization and space requirements.
