Work Order Types

Select the work order types to display in the Metrics section. Selected types are included in reports and dashboards for accurate performance tracking. These types are available to Accruent FAMIS-Integrations for greater versatility. Accruent Space Intelligence retrieves preventive and corrective activity types directly from FAMIS.

The system pulls the list of work order types from the aggregated work order table, which stores all available types in the system. The system calculates the numbers for each category from actual work orders linked to the tenant. These counts reflect real usage, not just the full list of possible types.

Add, remove, and reorder types to keep your metrics focused on the most relevant data for analysis and reporting.

The Work Order Types page includes the following:

Add type: Add up to six work order types to display in metrics data.
Order: The order determines how they appear in the Metrics section. Ensure the display order matches your reporting or operational priorities.
Type: Specifies the category of the work order, such as Preventive, Corrective, or other defined types.
Remove: Removes the work order type from the list.

Add work order type

Add up to six work order types.

Go to Configure > Work order types > Add type.

The Work order types window opens.
In Work order type, select one from the list.
Click Add.

The system adds the work order type to the list.

Reorder list

Reorder items in the list to control their display in the Metrics section. Enter a unique number for each item to set the order.

Go to Configure > Work order types.
In the Order column, enter a value for any item to set its position.
Click Update.

The list updates to reflect the new order.

Delete work order type

Delete work order types that are no longer used or relevant in your processes.

Go to Configure > Work order types.
Locate the work order type you want to delete and click the minus sign icon.
In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
Click Update.
