Contracts

View contract information for the asset that's attached to your open work order. These contracts usually refer to binding agreements associated with the maintenance, service, or repair tasks outlined in the work order.

You cannot create a new work order contract on the Contracts tab. Create new contracts in the Classic TMS Contracts module.

The default page view is List view, which displays all information in a spreadsheet-like format. Card view displays the same items as blocks. You can switch between views on desktop platforms by clicking either the list or card icon located at the upper right of the list. Mobile phone and tablet devices only display Card view.

In List view, resize and reorder the columns, and sort them in either ascending or descending order.

Navigate to the Contracts tab while in Create or Update mode.

The Contract list view includes the following columns:

  • Number: Unique identifier assigned to a contract.

  • Description: Brief summary to provide more details.

  • Status: Displays active or inactive.

  • Effective date: Specific date from which all legal rights and obligations start. It might be different from the execution date, which is when the parties sign the contract.

  • Termination date: The date on which the contractual agreement is scheduled to end.

  • Vendor/customer: Identifies the vendor or customer that is legally obligated to the contract.
