Configuration
System administrators must configure Accruent TMS correctly for technicians to use it. This setup includes linking a resource record to the user's account. If no resource record exists, administrators can create one in the Classic TMS Resources module.
Technicians who will manage work orders across various segments must have their resource record placed in the correct parent segment, granting them access to all relevant child segments. If the technician works within a single segment, their resource record should be within that segment to restrict their data access. Users with access to multiple databases or environments, like technicians who service multiple hospitals, will choose the appropriate TMS site when signing on.
Single sign-on (SSO)
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a required feature for Accruent TMS users, improving security and simplifying the sign in process. Your organization's administrator must assign a resource record to each user and then map each user to the SSO email address. Users will then use their email address as their SSO ID to log into Accruent TMS.
