Schedule

In Assets, the Schedules tab shows your facility's preventive maintenance and planned event details. It lists the individual schedules associated with the asset, and if an asset group is linked, all assets in that group are included.

An asset includes any item requiring maintenance that you want to track, including equipment, facilities, and vehicles. Create assets in the TMS legacy application.

Your organization's administrator sets up a default form within the Classic TMS modules. The display of tabs, field groupings, and fields varies depending on whether it's in Create, Update, or Query mode.

The tabs and fields you see within this content may differ from those configured by your organization's administrator. Use this information as a guideline.

The default page view is List view, which displays all information in a spreadsheet-like format. Card view displays the same items as blocks. You can switch between views on desktop platforms by clicking either the list or card icon located at the upper right of the list. Mobile phone and tablet devices only display Card view.

The Preventative maintenance schedule section includes schedules associated with the asset. PM schedules display assets like heating/cooling systems, lab equipment, medical devices, and vehicles, helping you prevent issues before they arise. It includes the following columns:

  • Number: Unique identifier assigned to the schedule.

  • Description: Brief summary to provide more details.

  • Freq description: Identifies the planned and regular intervals at which maintenance activities are performed to keep equipment in optimal working condition and prevent breakdowns. Time-based maintenance occurs at intervals such as daily, weekly, quarterly, or annually. Certain events or operational milestones might also trigger the need for maintenance.

  • Segment description: Identifies the segment that this schedule is associated with. Segments are helpful for data segregation and reporting purposes, to organize assets more efficiently.

  • Next due date: The scheduled date when the next round of maintenance should occur on an asset or piece of equipment. This date is typically determined by the PM frequency schedule

In List view, resize and reorder the columns, and sort them in either ascending or descending order.
