Manually Generate A Scheduled Work Order From an Asset

Generate a work order from a single schedule attached to an asset to quickly create scheduled work orders without navigating to the Schedules module. Complete time-sensitive or event-triggered work without waiting for automated schedule generation.

You must have full access to Schedules > Manual schedule generation and have Edit access to the Assets module to use this feature.

1. Open the asset you want to generate a work order for.
2. Go to Schedule Info.
3. In the PM schedule information or IN schedule information, open the Actions list for the schedule you want to generate.
4. Select Generate work order.

   The system generates and opens the work order.

   If generation fails, the system displays a message and you remain on the asset record to retry.

You can also manually generate scheduled work orders from the Schedules module.
