Visitor Work Order Integration
Visitor Work Order Integration automates the process of generating the required visits when creating work orders that are assigned to outside vendors and contractors who need access to a property. This integration makes it easier to capture the work order information on the visit, and to check the visitor in and out as the work order is completed. In addition, enabling Visitor Work Order Integration allows users creating visits to manually associate a work order with the visit.
Automated visit generation streamlines the process of creating visits for outside vendors and contractors who need access to a property to complete a work order. A company can be designated as one for which visits are automatically created. Then, when a work order is created and assigned to a user from that company, the system creates the visit automatically. Information from the work order automatically populates the visit to ensure that the visit is accurate. The visit then appears on the Visitor Desk at the appropriate time frame with a linked reference to the work order.
When the user arrives at the property to perform the work, the Visitor Desk can check him or her in. Then, when the user marks the work order as complete, the visit is automatically checked out and removed from the Visitor Desk queue.
If Visitor Work Order Integration is enabled, work orders can be manually associated with a visit when that visit is created or edited. This is done by specifying a value in the Request ID field.
You can only associate work orders that are created for the same property as the visit. For more information, see Add Visit.
To take advantage of this feature, the following configuration options must first be set. If you need assistance, contact your system administrator.

On the Visitor Configuration Options page, the WO Integration flag must be set to Enabled.

The ability to automatically generate visits upon work order creation is set on a per-company basis. For each company that requires a visit related to a work request, you must set the Auto-Create Visit flag to Yes on the Edit Company page.
