Find Surveys
The Find Surveys page allows you to search for surveys based on a complex set of criteria you define. You can open surveys directly from the search results by clicking on the survey name in the Surveys column.
To find space surveys:
- Access the Space Survey module by clicking the Space Survey link at the top of the page.

Select the Find Surveys tab.
The Find Space Survey page opens.

Specify any of the following basic criteria to define the set of surveys you want to find:

Region – Select a value to find surveys associated with a particular region.
If a property is selected, the Region field is removed from the page.

Property – Click the Select link to find surveys associated with a particular property.
- Status – Select a value to find surveys that are in a particular Status, for example, In Progress or Rejected.
- Surveyor – Select a value to find surveys that were assigned to a particular surveyor.
- Survey Type – Select a value to find surveys that are of a particular type.
- Complete By - Specify two date values to find surveys whose completion date falls within the specified date range.
- Last Updated - Specify two date values to find surveys whose last updated date falls within the specified date range.
- Schedule For- Specify two date values to find surveys whose start date falls within the specified date range.
- Owning Group – Select a value to find surveys that are performed on spaces owned by a particular group.

To define advanced search criteria, expand the Advanced Search pane and specify values.
Advanced search criteria allow you to find surveys that are performed on spaces that have specific characteristics.
- Space Description – Enter a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have the specified text in their description.
- Occupant – Click the Select link to find surveys performed on spaces that have a particular occupant.
- Occupancy Status – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that are occupied, partially occupied, or unoccupied.
- Allocated Individual – Click the Select link to find surveys performed on spaces that are allocated to a particular person.
- Billing Group – Click the Select link to find surveys performed on spaces whose expenses are billed to a particular group.
- Functional Category – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have a certain type of activity performed there, for example research or services.
- Space Category – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have a particular general classification.
- Space Subcategory – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have a particular secondary classification.
- Space Type – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that are of a particular type.
- Space Category – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have a particular general classification.
- Allocation Date – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that were allocated to an individual on a particular date.
- Allocated Group – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that are allocated to a particular group.
- Functional Sub-Category – Select a value to find surveys performed on spaces that have a particular secondary classification of the activity that occurs in the space.

Once your search criteria are defined, click FIND.
The results list displays at the bottom of the page. You can use the navigation controls at the bottom of the page to skip to the first, previous, next, or last page of results or to jump to a particular page. You can also control the number of items that are displayed on each page.
The following columns of data are displayed.

Property - the property in which the space to survey is located

Space - the name of the space to survey

Last Update - the name of the user who made the last update to the survey and the date on which the update was performed

Surveys - the survey name (including its creation date), displayed as a link and the Details link; click the survey name link to open the Edit Survey page; click the Details link to open a dialog box indicating the surveyors and approvers associated with the survey.
- Allocated Groups - the group(s) or department(s) allocated to the space
- Allocated Individuals - the individuals allocated to the space
- Space Categories - Sub Categories – the space categories and subCategories associated with the space
- Functional Categories - Sub Categories – the functional categories and subCategories associated with the space
- SQFT / SQM – the number of square feet or square meters included in the space
- Total Vacancies – the number of available occupancies, calculated by subtracting the occupants from the capacity
- Total Calculated Occupancy – the total number of occupants in a space, calculated by adding the assigned occupants, the unnamed occupants, and the occupants of any of its subSpaces

Use any of the following options to change the default view of the search results:
- Change the order of the columns – Click and hold a cell in the header row to drag and drop the column to a different location in the table.
- Sort the results – Click a the cell header column name to sort the results by that column in ascending or descending order.
- Change the displayed columns – Click the arrow on the right side of a cell in the header row to select the Columns option, and clear the check boxes beside columns you wish to hide.
- Resize a column – Click and drag the column header border to make the column wider or narrower.

Click the survey name link in the Surveys column to open the survey.
The Edit Survey page opens allowing you to work on the space survey.
