Accruent FAMIS 360 25.01 Release Notes
We're delivering this automatic upgrade on January 25, 2025.
UserActivityGroupAssociations and RequestNotifications APIs
FAC-62896
You can now create and manage Activity Groups and their notifications through the FAMIS360 API without encountering issues. These updates ensure the API aligns with user security settings and notification rules.
-
Activity Group creation and updates:
-
When creating or updating an Activity Group via the UserActivityGroupAssociations endpoint, you can no longer set allowAssignment to false if there are existing Property or Region notifications with the Assign To action for that Activity Group.
-
To set allowAssignment to false, you must first remove any existing Assign To action notifications before you can successfully create or edit the Activity Group.
-
-
Creating and updating Logbook Notifications:
-
You cannot create or update a Request Notification via the RequestNotifications endpoint with the Assign To action set as true for an Activity Group if the allowAssignment flag is set to false for that activity group.
-
To create Assign To notifications, you must first set the allowAssignment flag to true in Activity Group.
-
You can still create Notify notifications for an Activity Group regardless of the allowAssignment flag status.
-
These changes ensure that the system maintains consistent behavior between the API and the UI, preventing conflicts and ensuring that user security settings are respected.
