Admin Portal for Mobile - User Management and Troubleshooting
Monitor user sessions, review user data and filters, and troubleshoot mobile issues in real time in the Users area for FAMIS 360 users You can see session activity, device and app details, user permissions, and cached device data to quickly resolve common problems such as unexpected logouts or missing work requests.
View user sessions
-
What you can see: last authentication time, device type, app version, and session activity. User authenticated sessions refresh frequently due to the FAMIS auth token policy.
-
Why it matters: frequent session expirations can indicate why users are being logged out, pending submissions, or why workbenches do not refresh between sessions.
Troubleshoot session issues
-
Check the user’s session timeline for repeated expirations or refresh failures.
-
Confirm the user’s app version and device type to rule out client-specific issues.
-
If logouts persist, have the user sign in again and monitor the next refresh window to verify stability.
Diagnose access and visibility problems
Review user data pulled from FAMIS: security permissions, activity groups, properties, and inspection classes. These data points drive what users can see on their workbenches.
If a user reports missing work requests, verify that their permissions and activity groups include the expected records.
Work with user filters in real time
-
View the user’s current filters to identify criteria that hide expected work (for example, property, activity group, or date).
-
Clear problematic filters from the portal to restore visibility and ask the user to refresh the app.
Manage device data:
-
Review cached collections and lists.
-
Delete stale cached data to force a clean refresh.
-
Download cached data for offline analysis if needed.
