Mobile - Inspections

In the mobile user interface, you can find and perform inspections. These functions operate in the same manner as they do in the full browser interface, except where differences are noted.

ClosedFind Inspection

The Mobile Find Inspection page allows you to locate and view a specific inspection that has already been performed. The differences between the mobile Find Inspections function and the full browser function are:

  • Mobile Find Inspections appears on the Start Page.

  • You can only search by Inspection ID; therefore, only one inspection will be found.

To find an inspection :

  1. On the Start Page, in the Inspection ID field, enter a valid inspection ID.

  2. Click FIND.

    The inspection details are displayed.

ClosedCreate Inspection

Creating an inspection allows you to determine if properties and assets are maintained to the required standards. Inspections can be conducted as a required part of completing a work request or can be performed independently. The only difference between the mobile Create Inspection function and the full browser function is:

  • You cannot attach a file to an inspection using the mobile interface.

To create an inspection:

  1. On either the Start Page or the Request Details page, click the Create Inspection link.

    The Create Inspection page opens.

  2. Specify values to define the type of inspection you want to create.

    If you are creating an inspection directly from a work order, the Property value will be selected for you.

  3. Click OK.

    The inspection items are displayed.

  4. Enter a value for all of the inspection items.

  5. Click OK.
