Find Procedure
The Find Procedure page allows you to search for procedures based on a complex set of criteria you define. Once you have located the desired procedures, you can select one from the search results and view/modify the asset detail information.
To find procedures:

Access the Knowledge module by clicking the Knowledge link at the top of the page.
- Select the Find Procedure tab.

Specify any of the following criteria to define the set of procedures you want to find:
- Property – Click the Select link to find procedures that are associated with a particular property.
- Region – Select a value to find procedures that are associated directly with a particular region or with any property associated with the selected region.
- Procedure Name – Enter a value to find procedures that contain the specified characters in their name. This search is not case-sensitive. The search is done on the entire word or phrase entered, not on individual words. You can enter part of a word, for example, entering "ca" will find both car and camera.
- Asset Class – Select a value to find procedures that are associated with assets of a particular class. Asset class defines the type or classification of the asset, for example, Boiler or Furniture.
- Search Text – Enter a value to find procedures that contain the specified characters in the procedure body text. This search is not case-sensitive. The search is done on the entire word or phrase entered, not on individual words. You can enter part of a word, for example, entering "ca" will find both car and camera.
- Status – Select a value to search for Active or Inactive procedures.

Click FIND.
The following columns of data are displayed for each procedure. You can sort the list by clicking any of the column headings.
- Procedure Name – the name of the procedure
- ID – the unique identifier of the procedure
- Region/Property – the region and property the procedure is associated with
- Inspection Class – the inspection class and type the procedure is associated with
- Asset Class – the asset class the procedure is associated with
- Attachment – a link to any file attached to the procedure
You can perform the following operations on the search results:

Open the Procedure – Clicking the Procedure Name link opens the Procedure Details page, allowing you to see more information about the procedure.

Print – Clicking the Print link to the right of a procedure opens a print dialog box and allows you to define print parameters and print the procedure.

Excel Summary – Clicking this link generates an Excel report providing information for each procedure listed in the search results. For each procedure, the procedure name, ID, region, property, inspection class and type, asset class, procedure owner, external procedure ID, estimated labor hours, priority, attachment name and created/updated fields are included.

Print Search Results – Clicking this link generates an HTML page that contains the name, asset class, and body text for each procedure in the search results.

Excel Detail – Clicking this link generates an Excel report providing information and the procedure body text for each procedure listed in the search results. For each procedure, the procedure name, ID, region, property, inspection class and type, asset class, and estimated labor hours fields are displayed, as well as a large field containing the contents of the procedure body text.
