Find Incident

The Find Incident page allows you to locate existing incidents based on criteria you specify. To find an incident:

  1. Access the Incident module by clicking the Incident link at the top of the page.

  2. Select the Find Incident tab.

  3. Specify search criteria. If no criteria are specified, results will be returned for all values. Search criteria include:

    • Property – the property where the incident occurred
    • Region – allows you to search for incidents across a region
    • Incident ID – the incident identification number
    • Incident Type – the type of incident
    • Incident SubType – further definition of the incident
    • Incident Status – the current state of the incident, for example, open, closed, or in progress
    • Department – the department where the incident occurred
    • Incident Date – the date range in which the incident occurred; these values are required
    • Status – indicates whether the incident is active or inactive
  4. Click FIND.

Above the result list, the total number of results appears. If more incidents are found than can be displayed on the page at one time, the first 100 are displayed and Prev and Next links appear to allow you to scroll through the results.

For each incident in the list, the following information is displayed:

  • Date – the date and time of the incident

  • ID – the incident identification number; clicking this link opens the Incident Details page.

  • Reported By – the name of the user who reported the incident and the company he or she works for

  • Property – the property and the space or floor where the incident occurred

  • Type/SubType – the type and subType of the incident

  • Status – the status of the incident

You can print the search results by clicking the Incident Quick PDF or Quick Summary link.

ClosedIncident Quick PDF

Clicking the Incident Quick PDF link creates and PDF file containing a list of the incidents in your search results. You can choose to open or save the file.

For each incident, the following information is included:

  • Incident ID – the incident ID number

  • Department – the department where the incident occurred

  • Property – the property where the incident occurred

  • Type – the type of incident

  • Date Created – the date on which the incident was entered into the system

  • Incident Date – the date when the incident occurred

  • Incident Description 1 – a short description of the incident

ClosedQuick Summary Report

Clicking the Quick Summary link creates an Excel spreadsheet containing the incidents in your search results. You can choose to open or save the file.

For each incident, the following information is included:

  • Incident ID – the incident ID number

  • Date Created – the date on which the incident was entered into the system

  • External Incident ID – the external incident ID

  • Status – the status of the incident

  • Property – the property where the incident occurred

  • Space/Floor – the space and floor where the incident occurred

  • Type – the type of incident, for example, flood or fire

  • SubType – further definition of the incident type

  • Department – the department where the incident occurred

  • Reported By – the person who reported the incident

  • Incident Date and Time– the date and time when the incident occurred

  • End Date and Time – the date and time when the incident ended

  • Duration – how long the incident was in progress

  • Company Doing Work – the company involved in the incident

  • Root Cause – the cause of the incident

  • Incident Description I, Incident Description II, Incident Description III – lists required descriptions of the incident

  • Root Cause Investigation – any additional information obtained about the root cause of the incident
