Administration Menu Page

The Administration Menu page provides system administrators access to the pages used to configure the system. Administration options are listed in separate menus, organized by module.

ClosedBase Modules

These menu options are available for all system administrators as part of the base system:

  • Administration – User account, user security, property, and application user-defined field configuration
  • Asset Administration – Asset module configuration, including, ranks, statuses, manufacturers and models, and UDFs
  • Company Administration – Company module configuration, including, company categories, documents, print formats, and vendor ratings
  • Global Administration – System globalization configuration, including languages, translations, and report management
  • Inspection Administration – Inspection module configuration, including, inspection classes/types, notifications, grading scales, and survey rules
  • Inventory Administration – Inventory module configuration, including, material items, material classes, bins and warehouses
  • Knowledge Administration – Configuration for procedures
  • Logbook Administration – Configuration for work orders, including types and subTypes, request notifications, and activity groups
  • System Administration – Configuration for inbound/outbound messages, failed messages (dead letters), and general installation options
  • TimeCard Administration – TimeCard module configuration, including, cost centers, timecard print format, manager/employee setup, and labor reasons
  • Work Order Administration – Configuration for the finance and accounting associations for work orders

ClosedAdditional Modules

These menu options are available to administer add-on modules. Your system may or may not include any of the following options:

  • Approval Administration – Configuration for approval levels, notifications settings, and proxy approvals
  • Event Administration – Configuration for property or facility events
  • Incident Administration – Incident module configuration, including, notifications, classes/types setup, and root causes
  • NPFA Administration – Configuration for non-profit fund accounting
  • Project Administration – Project module configuration, including, priorities, statuses, budgets, and budget calendars
  • Provision Administration – Provision module configuration, including, resources, positions, and provision setup
  • Purchasing Administration – Purchasing module configuration, including, PO status, types, print formats and requisition types
  • Reservation Administration – Reservation module configuration, including, resource types, reservation status, and hours of operation
  • Space Administration – Space module configuration, including, space and functional categories, space and floor classes, space and position standards, and space status values
  • Utiity Administration – Utility module configuration, including customer types, meter site types/groups/statuses, and utility status
  • Visitor Administration – Configuration for visitor types, property sub-tenants, and visitor barcode settings

ClosedConfiguring the Page Display

When you open the page, the menus for all of the Administration options are displayed. You can modify the Administration Menu page display by:

ClosedClose/Open a Menu

You can close menus that you do not want to display by clicking the menu title. Clicking the menu title, closes the selected menu and moves it to the menu pane at the top of the page.

Note:

Closing and then opening menus may change the order in which the menus are displayed, placing the most recently opened menu at the bottom of the column. You can use this feature to change the menu page display order.

If you want to revert to the default order, re-click the Admin link at the top of the page, before saving the current configuration.

ClosedOpen All/Close All

You can open or close all of the menus with one click by clicking the Open All or Close All buttons. When you click Close All, all of the menus are closed and moved to the menu pane at the top of the page.

ClosedCollapse Pane

If you want to hide all of the closed menu items, you can collapse the menu pane at the top of the page by clicking the Collapse Pane button. To reopen the collapsed menu items, click Open Pane.

ClosedSave Configuration

You can use any combination of closing, opening, and collapsing needed to configure the Administration Menu page display to suit your needs. For example, you may want to close all menus except the ones that you use most frequently, or change the display order to put the most frequently used menus at the top of each column.

Once you have modified the display, clicking the Save Configuration button saves the current display configuration so that the next time you open the Administration Menu page, the appropriate menus are displayed.
