Completion Codes

Completion codes are used within the Schedule module to indicate the completion of a task-based schedule to indicate the reason for completion or non–completion of the schedule.

To open the Completion Codes page:

  1. Open the Administration Menu page.

  2. Under the WORK ORDER ADMIN heading, click Completion Codes.

To add a completion code:

  1. In the Completion Code field, enter the completion code.

  2. In the Description field, enter a description of the completion code.
  3. Click ADD.

ClosedEdit a Completion Code

Once you have created a completion code, you can further define it or edit it. To edit a completion code:

  1. In the Completion Code field, select the completion code to edit.

  2. To change the name of the completion code, enter a value in the Rename field.

    All historical information will reflect the new value.

  3. In the Completion Flag field, select a value.

    Select Yes to add a check box that users can select to a completion code to indicate that the task has been completed.

  4. In the Description field, modify the description, if needed.
  5. In the Tab Order field, enter a numeric value.

    The Tab Order indicates the position, in menus, where this value will be listed. Lower numbered values are displayed toward the top of the list. Values will the same tab order will be sorted alphabetically.

  6. To change the status of the completion code, select a value from the Status field.

    Completion codes with a status of Inactive are not displayed to users.

  7. Click UPDATE.

ClosedDelete a Completion Code

Completion codes that have not been used can be deleted from the system.

Completion codes that have been associated with a schedule task cannot be deleted, but they can be inactivated to prevent users from accessing them.

To delete a completion code:

  1. In the Completion Code field, select the value to delete.

  2. Click DELETE.
