Outbound Messages
The Outbound Messages page allows you to track all outgoing messages sent to users and third party systems that were generated by processing work requests, or approvals of purchase orders, projects, and work requests.
There are several ways to open the Outbound Messages page:
- Opening the Outbound Messages page from the Request Details page or the Purchase Order, Project, or Work Order Approval pages displays outbound messages related to the selected work request, purchase order, or project. To view messages:
Scroll down to the Other Options pane.
Click the Outbound link.
- Opening the Outbound Messages page from the Administration Menu page allows you to select a work request you want to view outbound messages for. To view messages:
Open the Administration Menu page.
Under the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION heading, click Inbound Messages.
In the Request ID field, enter the ID of the work request.
Click Find.
For each outbound message, the following information is displayed:

Send Date – This column indicates the date and time the message sent. The date and time will reflect the time zone of the property the work request, purchase order or project is associated with.

Message – This column contains the actual subject and body of the message sent. It may contain xml data (for interfaces to external systems) or URLs linking back to the system.

Addresses – This column contains a list of email addresses the message was sent to. For external systems, names may appear in place of actual email addresses.
