Inspection Configuration Options

The Inspection Configuration Options allow administrators to configure general settings for the Inspection module. Only users with appropriate administrative rights can access this option.

To establish inspection configuration options:

  1. Open the Administration Menu page.

  2. Under the INSPECTION ADMIN heading, click Configuration Options.

  3. Specify values for any of the following options:

    • Inspection Notification Subject – Enter a value to be used as the subject line of the email notification that is sent out when an inspection is performed. The default value contains text and email tokens to include the inspection number.
    • Inspection Notification Body – Enter a value to be used as the body text of the email notification that is sent out when an inspection is performed. The default value contains text and email tokens to include details about the inspection.
    • Display FCA Inspection Details on Asset – This option is displayed in the Other Options pane. If this value is set to Yes, when a FCA (Facility Condition Assessment) inspection has an asset associated with it, the details of the most recently completed FCA inspection can be viewed on the FCA Information pane of that asset's Asset Detail page. If set to No, only the FCA Rank, but not the inspection details are included on the Asset Details page.
  4. Click UPDATE.
