Currency

The Currency page allows you to select the currencies that can be used at an installation from a pre-defined list of currencies. The currencies selected will be included in the Currency drop-down menu on the Edit Property page and can be selected as the currency used at a property.

To select currencies:

1. Open the Administration Menu page.

2. Under the GLOBAL ADMINISTRATION heading, click Currency.

   A list of all the currently installed currencies is displayed. Currencies are listed in order of tab order first, then alphabetically by description.

3. In the Available Currencies field, select a currency.

4. Click ADD.

   The currency is added to the list. By default, the currency is added as Active, with a Tab Order of 1. The name of the user who added the currency and the date and time it was added are displayed.

   You cannot delete a currency once it has been added to the list. However, you can make the currency Inactive which will prevent it from being displayed to users.

Edit a Currency

Once a currency has been added, you can edit the tab order or status. You cannot modify the name of the currency. To edit a currency:

1. On the Admin – Currency page, locate the currency you want to edit and click the Edit link to the right of it.

   A window opens displaying the current currency parameters. The Currency name is displayed, but is not editable.

2. To modify the Tab Order, enter a new value.

   The Tab Order indicates the position, in menus, where this value will be listed. Lower numbered values are displayed toward the top of the list. Values will the same tab order will be sorted alphabetically.

3. To modify the status of the currency, select a value in the Active field.

   Yes indicates that the currency is active and can be assigned to properties. No indicates that the currency is inactive and cannot be assigned to properties.

4. Click UPDATE.

   The updated currency parameters are displayed. The name of the user who added the currency and the time it was last updated are displayed.
