Company Contract Types

Company contract types are used to determine the type of contract associated with a vendor or service provider company, for example, Service Agreement or Work Authorization. These values populate the Contract Type drop-down menu on the Create Company page.

To open the Company Contract Types page:

  1. Open the Administration Menu page.

  2. Under the COMPANY ADMIN heading, click Company Contract Types.

To add a contract type:

  1. In the Add Contract Type field, enter the name of the contract type.

    This is the value that will be displayed to users.

  2. Click ADD.

    A dialog box opens asking you to confirm your choice.

  3. Click OK.

ClosedEdit a Contract Type

Once you have created a contract type, you can edit it. To edit a contract type:

  1. In the Contract Type field, select the contract type to edit.

  2. To change the name of the contract type, enter a value in the Rename field.

    All historical information will reflect the new value.

  3. To change the status, select a value from the Status field.

    Contract types with a status of Inactive are not displayed to users.

  4. Click UPDATE.

ClosedDelete a Contract Type

Contract types that have not been used can be deleted from the system.

Contract types that have been associated with a company cannot be deleted, but they can be inactivated to prevent users from accessing them.

To delete a contract type:

  1. In the Contract Type field, select the contract type you want to delete.

  2. Click DELETE.

    A dialog box opens asking you to confirm your choice.

  3. Click OK.
